Wendy Vaughon, MPH

Ms. Vaughon is a health communications expert whose research and program development focuses on diverse, underserved populations who often have inadequate literacy or health and science literacy. She is a skilled qualitative researcher who uses methods such as usability testing to create consumer appropriate communication and learning tools.

Ms. Vaughon has worked on a number of federally funded research projects focusing on consumer use of health information, health literacy and informatics. She has worked extensively as both a program and grants manager in educational/social service organizations.

She earned her BA from Brown University, an MPH from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is a presently a doctoral student in Public Health at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy.
