Judith A. Salkeld, M.S.
Ms. Salkeld brings her extensive experience with public health, academic research and nutrition education. A graduate of Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy, she has built a professional career that has included positions at Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Harvard School of Public Health, and Brown University’s Institute of Community Health Promotion.
She has worked with the WIC program as a nutrition educator and program director. The issue of obesity prevention has been a major theme during her research career: currently she directs a rant that explores methods of preventing obesity among Latino preschoolers enrolled in childcare homes and centers.
She brings extensive experience in diverse writing spheres related to health; including popular press, research, reporting, and education; with a focus on nutrition and obesity-related topic.
