Andrea Rothenberg, MS, LCSW

Andrea Rothenberg the Director of Health Education at Mount Sinai Hospital. For twenty-six years she has been providing programs and services to individuals and families primarily in the East Harlem community. She specializes in the area of adolescent pregnancy, parenting and prevention and has lectured both locally, nationally and internationally.  She is also on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s Masters in Public Health Program where she teaches courses on teen pregnancy and the lifecycle of violence.

Ms Rothenberg is the Founder of Thai Dek Lek, a not for profit organization that promotes child development in Thai orphanages.  As part of this endeavor, she is co-author of “Am I Going Home?” – a book to help caregivers speak with young children about why they are not living at home.

Ms. Rothenberg has a unique friend and colleague with whom she defies gravity on a daily basis!
